With great sadness, and heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Epifania P. Hernandez, affectionately known as "Tita" on Saturday, August 12th, 2023 at the age of 85, she passed peacefully surrounded by the love of her family.

Epifania was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico on January 12th, 1938 to Narcisa Moreno Palomo, and Felix Palomo.  Was Married to Pedro S. Hernandez for 71 years.

Her passion was her family; she loved to cook and had a nitch for amazing dishes.  She enjoyed collecting antiques, gardening, and classical music, along with bringing people together.  She lived for spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  In her long life, she was a savvy and talented businesswoman.  Epifania always had a warm smile, kind gesture to people, and a heartfelt spirit.  She will be dearly missed by her family, and friends.

She is survived by her children Robert Hernandez, Emi Hernandez, Alma Hoffman, and Jose Hernandez.  She is joining her husband Pedro S. Hernandez, and her sons Pedro P. Hernandez, and Benjamin Hernandez.  Epifania is also survived by her seven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 17th, 2023 at

Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 600 Oblate Dr., San Antonio, TX 78216.

Viewing at 10:30 AM, Rosary at 11:30 AM, Mass at 12:00 Noon.
