Enrique Morales passed from this Earth at San Antonio's Audie L. Murphy Veterans Hospital on Wednesday, July 31, 2019.  He was 81 years old.  Enrique was surrounded by much of his family at the time of his passing.

Enrique was born on August 10, 1937 in San Antonio, Texas to Enrique and Margarita Hernandez Morales.  He grew up in the San Antonio with his two brothers and sister.  He eventually married Rosie Bononcini Morales with whom he raised eight children.

He served with pride in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Enrique was a creative, artistic man.  His love of the arts inspired him to a career of painting and he is credited with numerous murals throughout San Antonio and the state of Texas.  Additionally Enrique contributed to much of the artwork on board the Queen Mary and his murals can also be found throughout California.  Enrique continued doing what he loved until the day he was hospitalized.

Enrique was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Rosie, his dad, Enrique, his mom, Margarita, and his loving brother, Richard.

He leaves behind many beloved family members and friends including his brother, Carlos (Lorenzo) Morales and his sister, Delfina Goodman; his children:  Bobby Jaramillo; Wanda Villarreal and husband Robert; Sandra Martinez and husband Antonio; Paul McLaughlin; Janette Lee and husband Paul; Gustavo Morales and wife Yvette; Xavier Morales and wife Becky; and Bianca Morales.  He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, 15 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 7 great, great grandchildren, all of which he loved dearly.

Losing you will always cause us pain,
