Emilio Alberto Moran went to be with the Lord on February 17, 2023. Emilio was born in San Antonio, Texas on August 22, 1944 to Arturo and Herminia Moran.

He attended Fox Tech High School and went on to serve as a jet plane mechanic at Kelly Air Force Base for over 40 years. Throughout his life, he pursued his love of music and played the saxophone with bands across the state. In retirement, he spent his days as a Franklin Elementary school crossing guard, neighborhood mechanic, musician, and his grandchildren's best friend.

Emilio is preceded in death by his parents: Arturo and Herminia Moran; his brothers: Manuel, Carlos, and Armando Moran; and his grandson: Emilio Moran III.

He is survived by his wife, Edna Oliver Moran; his siblings: Arturo Moran Jr., Irma "Bebe" (Roy) Valdez, and Mario Moran; his sons: Emilio Jr. (Yvette) Moran, Danny Moran, and Larry (Sandy) Moran; his grandchildren: Paris, Jonathan, Miranda, Ayden, and Aaron; and many nieces and nephews.
