On September 18, 2018 Emilio Maldonado finished his earthly journey and went to spend eternity with Jesus Christ. He was born on January 26, 1924 in San Antonio, Texas.
Our dad Emilio was a man who every day of his life provided for his wife and family to the best of his abilities. He worked over 40 yrs at Kelly AFB. In order to provide for his family as he wanted, he always had a second job. By doing this he was able to send all of his children to private schools. He shouldered the complete financial burden which allowed his wife to be a full time mother for their whole marriage. They were married on January 18, 1948. She was the love of his life. They enjoyed every moment together.
They traveled and worshiped together throughout their entire marriage.
They were long time parishioners at Little Flower Parish. Our father belonged to the Knights of Columbus, Holy Name Society, and The Cursillos. He was always available whenever the Carmelites needed anything.
He was preceded in death by his parents Faustino and Carmen Maldonado, brothers Carlos, Faustino, George, Joe, sisters Amelia, and Mary.
He is survived by his children Emilio, Robert, and Theresa and his siblings: Richard and Anita. He has left behind many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed but he will never be forgotten.
