Our Beloved Mother Emilia F. Montez of 81 years left us to be with our Lord on June 15, 2016.

She was born October 6, 1934 in San Antonio, Texas to Bruno Flores and Juanita Sanchez.

She married Ramon Lara Montes in 1959 and was with him for 40 years before our Lord called him.

A devoted Catholic and Guadalupana, she attended St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and participated in the church choir. She was a homemaker and a wonderful mother of seven children, she loved to sew, gardening and arts & crafts.

She is survived by her 7 children, Diane, Janie, Mary Ann, Ramon Jr., Salvador, Josie and Irene; three sons-in-law; two daughters-in-law; 13+ grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICES

Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 21, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at the Angelus Funeral Home.

Visitation will resume on Wednesday morning at 8:00 A.M. with the procession to depart the funeral home chapel at 8:30 A.M. Funeral Mass will be offered at 9:00 A.M. at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Fr. Richard Hall officiating.

Burial will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
