Our beloved mother; Elvira (Beeca) Ortiz Galindo, peacefully went to God where she joined her husband Henry Galindo, and her beloved mother Elena Ortiz, on Saturday, August 19th, 2017. Beeca was born on May 20th, 1927, in Hondo, Texas; but lived in San Antonio, Texas for most of her life.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Henry Galindo, mother, Elena Ortiz, mother-in-law, Eudosia Cañamar Galindo, father-in-law, Yudaleco Galindo, siblings: Maria Cantu, Jose Ortiz, Arturo (Bea) Ortiz, Estella (Mike) Gallegos, Rosie Torres, and in-laws: Earl Beasley, Hortencia Galindo, Concha (Jesus) Garcia, Geronimo (Juanita) Galindo, Richard (Mary Louise) Galindo, Ester (Jesus) Garcia, Alicia (Pablo) Gonzalez, Hortencia (David) Rubio, Indaleco (Saraita) Galindo, and Homer Galindo. Beeca married the love of her life Henry Galindo on June 2nd, 1945; whom passed away on July 2nd, 2016.
Beeca is survived by her three children: Dianna (Richard) Rieman, Henry Galindo, Charles (Annette Nedeau) Galindo, and her sister, Eva Beasley. Beeca also had five great-grandchildren: Amanda (Zeuz Moctezuma) Rieman, Christina Rieman, Joseph Herrera, Alanna Wagman, and Alicia Pearl; along with countless nieces and nephews but in particular Elia and Richard Vasquez, and Roy and Louis Siller.
Beeca was the most beautiful human-being that has ever been a part of this world. She was an extraordinary mother, aunt, friend, and neighbor. She made sure no one was ever hungry, she was generous, and kind. Beeca always prayed for everyone in the family and anyone whom she knew that was going through a hard time. She was patient, selfless, and because of her selflessness and her loving nature she gave love to everyone. She made sure everyone knew they were loved. The world will certainly be dimmer without her, but she let us know before passing that she "didn't want us to mourn for her because "God's will is done".
