Mrs. Elida Villarreal Robles passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at the age of 96. Elida was an independent, hardworking woman who retired from Levi Strauss Co. after many years of service. She always had a positive and optimistic outlook on life and gave great advice and wisdom to those in need. A wonderful cook, Elida loved to entertain during the holidays and hosted many gatherings at her home for her family and friends. She especially looked forward to coordinating the annual Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving pool for fun. She enjoyed spending time outdoors whether it was working in her yard, planting and gardening or camping.
Elida was a fun loving woman who enjoyed movies, listening to music, dancing at various socials and traveling to Las Vegas, Coushatta and Mexico. A woman of faith, Elida prayed to the Virgen de San Juan de Los Lagos in times of need and volunteered many hours at the St. Mary Magdalen Church festivals. Her family will miss her tremendously, but she will be forever in our hearts.
Elida was preceded in death by her husband, Ernesto Robles; a grandson, Daniel Paiz and a great-granddaughter, Sierra Felan. She is survived by her daughter, Rose Marie Paiz and her husband David; grandchildren: David Paiz, Jr., Sandra Paiz and Susan Felan and her husband Robert; great-grandchildren: Shelby Felan and Robert Felan; numerous nieces and nephews.
