Elias R. Gonzales' Obituary
Elias Richard Gonzales Jr. entered eternal rest on April 8, 2016 at the age of 66. Elias was born July 21, 1949 in San Antonio, Texas. Elias proudly served his country in the US Army and the Vietnam War. Elias was awarded the bronze star for his war time service. Elias retired from Kelly Air Force Base. Elias was a member of the Grand Lodge with a title of Master Mason. Elias was a loving and wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He dearly enjoyed his dog "Sammy".
Elias preceded in the death of his parents Elias and Martina Gonzales and Brother Alfred Gonzales.
Elias is survived by his loving wife Esther. Three children; daughter's Stephanie (Gilbert) Felan, Melanie (Linda) Morris, Son Elias Jacob (Joy) Gonzales. Ten grandchildren; Summer, Gavin, Regina, Madyson, Ashtyn, Jaron, Ryan, Natalie, Caterina and Gianara. Brother, Rudy (Shari) Gonzales. Sisters; Sylvia (Lenny) Fuentes, Minerva (Alfred) Montalvo and Lenor Cramberg. Numerous nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL SERVICES
Visitation will begin on Monday April 18, at 5pm with a Prayer Service to be held at 7pm at Angelus Funeral Home. Funeral Service Tuesday April 19, at 9am at Angelus Funeral Home. Burial at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Military Honors and Masonic Burial service scheduled at 11am.
