Eduviges (Vicki) V. Lopez entered into eternal peace and rest on August 13, 2015. Vicki was born in La Villa del Carmen, N.L., Mexico on October 17, 1917, to Juan and Manuela Elizondo Villarreal. Vicki was a lifetime resident of San Antonio and preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Lopez; sisters, Martina Villarreal, Josefa V. Cabrera and Clementina V. Gonzalez; son-in-law, Richard Palacios and daughter-in-law, Karen Lopez. She is survived by her son, Paul A. Lopez and daughter Dolores A. Palacios; grandchildren, Paul Lopez and wife MaryAnn, Bernadette Lopez, Anna Palacios LeBlanc and husband Norm and Richard L. Palacios and wife Michele; five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Vicki was a devout Catholic and a member of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower for over forty years. She was an active member oF the Confraternity of the Brown Scapular, where she served as President. In 1987, Vicki became a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, where she enjoyed being part of the Golden Age Senior Group. Vicki will be missed by her family and friends that she encountered during her tenure with Joske's Department Store and the San Antonio Independent School District. We pray to you O Lord that in her loving arms she rest in peace. FUNERAL SERVICES Visitation will begin on Monday, August 17, at 5:00 P.M. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at the Angelus Chapel. Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, August 18, at 10:00 A.M. at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower. Interment will follow in San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery # 2.
