Eduardo Silva of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2015 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by his wife, Oralia I Silva. He is lovingly remembered by his children, Mark Silva, Jo Ann Aitken and Laura Ann Collins and her husband Dennis Collins, brother Santiago Silva and grandchildren Travis Edward Collins and Seth Martin Collins. Ed was born in San Antonio, Texas on March 30, 1936. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1955 and obtained his B.A. from St. Mary's University in 1963 while coaching football at St. Gerard's High School. He worked many years as a Juvenile Probation Officer for Bexar County and retired in 2006. Visitation will begin Thursday, June 11th at 5:00pm in The Angelus Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, June 12th at 11:00am at St. Ann's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery #2, 746 Castroville Rd.
