Douglas Paul Wright Jr. (Bain), loving husband and father, passed away quietly in his sleep on April 23, 2022 at age 53.
Paul was quite the character! He loved people and made friends quickly wherever he was. Paul had a quick wit and enjoyed making all of us laugh. Paul could make you laugh, make you cry and made you so mad all in 5 minutes. But you still loved Paul and forgave him easily. He had funny quirky nicknames for most of his friends and always kept in touch, you heard your nickname and knew who it was immediately.
Paul was a natural to all kind of sales – Paul was gifted in that way. Sales was so easy for him it was entertaining to watch or listen to. Some of Paul's favorite stories (and everyone else's) came from Car Sales and Oil Well Sales. Sales brought him many lifelong friends and new opportunities.
He had a love for fishing, hunting, football, golf and Port Aransas. All with friends of course!
Paul adored his four children and family. Over the years Paul spent most of his time with his children and all of their friends as well, Paul may have taught your child how to swim, ride a bike, play sports, fish and more. Many wonderful memories were made for all of us.
He was preceded in death by father, Douglas P. Wright, step-father, Gregory Bekken, maternal grandparents, Carolyn and John Monaco; paternal grandparents, Harold and Elizabeth Wright, uncle, John Monaco, and cousin, Colin M. Monaco.
He is survived by wife, Suzy Spruce Wright; mother, Mary Ann Bekken; children: Garrett Wright, Jules Wright, Anna Spruce, Grace Spruce; uncle and aunt, Carl and Patsy Monaco; aunt, Sherri Monaco Davis; numerous cousins.
