Dolores Franco Taylor, age 101, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Vitas Hospice surrounded by family.  She was born on March 22, 1918 to Jose and Agustina Escarena Franco.  She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Jose Franco, Concepcion Tijerina, Maria Arce, Angela Gonzales, Matilde Franco, Juanita Franco, George Franco, Ricardo Franco, Raul Franco, Enrique Franco and Carlos Franco.  She is survived by her sisters, Esther Maldonado, Carmen Mata; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In the 1940's, during World War II, Dolores worked for Friedrich's on the assembly line to help with the war effort.  She later worked for Juvenile Manufacturing, Kresge Department Store, and Kmart in which she retired after many years.

Dolores was a lifelong resident of San Antonio, Texas.

She loved to travel and play bingo.  She had a great love for her family and sweet dogs.
