Dolores (Lola) Guerrero Flores returned to her heavenly home on December 26, 2014, on her 97th birthday. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arturo (Richard), and her only son Juanito. Dolores, daughter of Alta Gracia Garca and Saturnio Guerrero, was born in San Antonio in 1917 and lived in San Antonio her entire life. Lola was an honored Army veteran of World War II and was stationed in Colorado Springs, CO. She was honorably discharged in 1943. Dolores was loved by her family and is survived by her nieces and nephews; Olga Flores, Gloria Meza, Oralia Sandoval, Estela Dadci, Rudy Guerrero, Ricardo Martinez, Daniel Martinez, Silvia Esquivel, Mary Alarcn, Graciela Gutiérrez, Lalo Rodriguez; 26 great-nieces and nephews; 19 great-great nieces and nephews and 2 great-great-great nephews. Visitation will begin Tuesday at 4:00 P.M. in The Angelus Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be offered Wednesday at 9:30 A.M. at San Fernando Cathedral. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
