Diane Buffington (Piña) age 87 went to be with her Lord early Thursday morning, December 17, 2020. She was born in Midland, TX to Bernard "Buff" and Emogene "Bobbie" Buffington on January 1, 1933.  The family moved to San Antonio where she attended Thomas Jefferson High School there after Mary Baldwin University in Staunton, Virginia. Diane married and moved to Mexico City, Mexico then relocated back to San Antonio where she would work and remain the rest of her life.  She worked as a legal, oil and gas secretary, was a member and officer of "Desk and Derrick" and a life time member of "Christ Episcopal Church".

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Bobbie and Buff Buffington; grandmother Mammy Hamlin; ex-husband Alberto B Piña; and grandson Jonathan Piña. She is survived by her son Alberto (Beto) and wife Sandra Piña, grandsons Alberto and wife Elsa Piña, Jason and wife Crystal Piña; great-grandchildren AJ, Bella, Bri, Olivia, Maddie and Amelia. Many nieces and nephews in the Piña Clan.

May she travel knowing that she was loved and will be greatly missed.
