Mrs. Delia C. Hernandez passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the age of 93.  Delia was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother and member of St. James the Apostle Catholic Church and the VFW Post 9186 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed cooking, going to the beauty salon, watching some of her favorite Spanish "Novelas" and enjoyed traveling to visit family. When she was younger, she had a love for exercising, riding her bike and roller skating.

She was preceded in death by her parents Carlota and Isaias Martinez, her husband of 60 years, Ruben Hernandez and a daughter, Stella M. Valdez.  She is survived by her children Sylvia A. Aguilar, Sandra J. Diaz and her husband Ralph G. Diaz, Steven A. Hernandez and his wife Rosalie F. Hernandez; six grandchildren: Nicole M. Valdez, Jennifer E. Berlanga, Stephanie M. Keehn, Danielle D. Boyd, Joshua A. Hernandez and Natalie A. Ponce; six great-grandchildren: Sabella Berlanga, Sheldon Berlanga, Benjamin Keehn, Maisie Keehn, Nolan Sacry, Blake Boyd and two surviving brothers Oscar I. and Manuel R. Martinez.

Visitation will begin at The Angelus Funeral Home at 6:00 P.M.

with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M.

Friday, July 2, 2021

Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:30 A.M. at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church.

Interment will follow at San Jose Burial Park.
