David Espinoza
February 12, 2023
United States Marine Corps Veteran
Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, David Espinoza, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 12th at the age of 61. He was born and raised in San Antonio, Tx.
He was preceded in death by his mother Gloria Espinoza. He is survived by his beloved wife, Maricela Espinoza; his four children: Christopher, Matthew, Alyssa and her husband Irving, Jonathan David and his wife Channon and their two beautiful children; sister, Norma; brothers: Jesus, Daniel, and Richard; beloved aunt, Beatrice whom he loved like a mom and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
He graduated from Highlands High School. After graduation, he served in the United States Marine Corps where he excelled in communications. After his honorable discharge from the USMC, he pursued an education at Texas A&M. Afterwards, he worked at Sherman Electronics. Years later, he went on to work at Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Texas.
David's life ethos of integrity, loyalty, humbleness, selflessness, strength, and pride intertwined with quiet confidence was contagious to anyone who interacted with him in both his personal and professional life. Never seeking to take advantage of anyone for his own personal gain. He did not seek accolades or limelight but rather preferred to observe and stand in the background. But was quick to show pride and congratulate others on their accomplishments or on a job well done. He was a man of few words who preferred to lead more by example. He never pushed anyone harder than he pushed himself and he always pushed himself to the best of his ability. He was a fiercely devoted family man who found pleasure in the simple things in life; like watching movies with the family, enjoying quiet dinners with his wife, or reading a good mystery novel. He created many memories with his family on their vacation trips.
He is dearly missed by all those who knew him.
May God cradle him in His arms until we see him again.
