Consuelo Segura Cuellar, beloved grandmother, sister, and friend entered eternal rest on July 18, 2022. Consuelo was born on August 23, 1926. She was 95.

Consuelo attended Briscoe and Bonham Elementary and Immaculate Heart of Mary High School. She met Jose Humberto Cuellar a.k.a Pedro Infante at the 16 de Septiembre dance in 1945. They dated and were married on August 11, 1946. During World War II she worked at the San Antonio Arsenal.

She would always help by caring for family and their children. She was a loving grandmother, storyteller and avid reader.

She was preceded in death by her loving grandparents, Marcelina and Jose Rodriguez and Octaviano and Eduviges Exiga Segura; loving parents, Leonor and Augustin Segura; loving daughters, Irma Eduvijes Walden Istre and Blanca Rosa Valdillez; loving siblings, Augustin Segura Jr. (Tino), Maria de los Angeles, Jose Segura (Pepe), Maria Eduviges Barner (Nena) and Maria de la Luz Phalen (Chiqui)

She is survived by her children, Jose Humberto Cuellar Jr., Maria Azalia Taylor Mooney, Miguel Angel Cuellar and Laura Ann Pena; sister, Cecilia Segura; brothers-in law, Robert Barner and William Phalen; 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren many nieces, nephews and friends.
