Claudio P. Gonzales went to be with Lord on March 10, 2015. Claudio was born in Karnes City, Texas on April 11, 1921 to Ignacio and Silvestra Gonzales. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, and two brothers. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Adelina T. Gonzales; and nephews, nieces and other relatives. He was a World War II veteran and retired from Kelly AFB civil service after 29 years followed by working as a security officer for the next 12 years before retiring completely. He enjoyed his retirement being a great husband and uncle. We will miss him dearly. Special thanks and appreciation is expressed to Mr. Martin Saenz and his family for their kindness and assistance and to the Christus Hospice and Ms. Laura for the excellent care provided. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, March 18, at 5:00 P.M. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at the Angelus Chapel. Funeral procession will depart from the funeral home on Thursday, March 19, at 8:30 A.M. with a Funeral Mass to be offered at 9:00 A.M. at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
