Christopher Lynn VanOver, lovingly known as Chris, was born on August 5, 1981, and gained his angel wings on July 22, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 44.

Chris had a big heart and a love for life that was reflected in the things that brought him joy. He was a devoted sports fan who never missed the chance to cheer on his beloved Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs. Whether he was spending time at the bowling alley, enjoying a concert, catching the latest movie, or simply making memories with those he loved, Chris found happiness in life's simple moments.

Above all, Chris loved his family. He leaves behind the greatest pride and joy of his life, his daughter, Kaydence Denae VanOver, who will forever carry his love in her heart. He is also survived by his loving mother, Laurie Lowery; his siblings, Leonard Lane (Nathalie), Melissa Lowery-Benavidez (Marie), and Jacob Lowery (Natalie); his only niece, Alexandria Lowery; along with many extended family members and friends who will miss his presence dearly.

Chris was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, JoAnn Lane, Lawrence Lane, Mary Lowery, and John W Lowery, as well as his father, John A Lowery.

Although our hearts are broken by his passing, we find comfort in knowing that his love, laughter, and memories will live on in all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
