In Loving Memory
Christine (Tina) Marie Morgan-Flores
December 27, 1958-July 28, 2023
Christine (Tina) Marie Morgan-Flores passed away surrounded by family at her home in San Antonio, Texas on July 28th. Tina was born on December 27, 1958 to the late James and Janice Morgan. She spent most of her life in San Antonio.
Tina was a dedicated mother, wife, aunt, godmother, and friend. She was generous, compassionate, kind, warm, smart, and adventurous. Tina had friends from all stages of life, from childhood into adulthood, whom she welcomed into her home and her heart. She loved hosting friends and family, cooking, playing golf, attending UT football games, and playing with her grandchildren. If you have met Tina once or a hundred times, you have witnessed her loving heart, fierce intelligence, and passion for life. She taught us to be more empathetic, welcoming, and devoted people. She was the best of all of us.
Tina received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas at San Antonio and her Master of Business Administration from Our Lady of the Lake University. She served as a CPA at USAA in San Antonio for more than 25 years.
Tina spent much of her time committed to the care of others. She volunteered, alongside her dear friend, Martha, with the River Warriors at the San Antonio River Authority, First Tee of San Antonio and the Valero Texas Open. Tina and her dear friend Barbara volunteered with the Girl Scouts of America for many years, and she spent countless hours volunteering for Mobile Loaves and Fishes to support the less fortunate in her community.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, John, her children, Justin (Rebecca) Morgan, John David (Faith) Flores, and Lisa Flores, her grandchildren, Jackson, Austin, Jonah, Isla, and Bailey, her siblings, Tommy (Shirley) Morgan, Patrick (Rita) Morgan, Michele Elledge, Teresa (Bob) Kaschak, and Sean Morgan, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Morgan.
