Christine will also be remembered by her grandsons Chase and Trevor Eddleton, Nicholas Herschman, Julian Salas, and her granddaughters McKenna and Ainsley Johnson, Jennifer Herschman, as well as her great- granddaughter Charlotte Eddleton. In her educational journey, Christine attended Mount Sacred Heart School for Girls for her primary education and graduated from Incarnate Word High School in 1963. She furthered her education at St. Mary's University where she met her first husband, Vincent Chacon. Throughout her career, Christine held various positions, including Manager of the Gift Department at Frost Bros., Health by Design, and she retired from Fairchild Aerospace Corporation, where she met the love of her life, Gerald.

Outside of her professional life, Christine was an active member of the San Antonio Conservation Society during the 1980s. She eagerly participated in the annual Night In Old San Antonio (NIOSA) event, overseeing her booth, Gringo Grub.
