Our dear Christina Alejandra Lozano was unexpectedly taken from us on Thursday May 5th 2016 in Houston, Texas. She was 28.
Christina was introduced to the world on the 7th of July 1987 in San Antonio. She was a free and happy spirit who loved to laugh, love, cook and write. Christina attended St. Gregory the Great Catholic School, graduated with honors from Berkner High School in Richardson, Texas, and attended culinary school in Dallas. She was also an attentive student of cooking under her mother and grandmother, her favorite cooks of all. She was a protective soul, of friends and family alike. Those who knew her knew this. Her protective, caring nature were just two of her many traits that endeared her to us all.
Christina was preceded in death by her father, Antonio Sanchez; and her grandparents, Maria Louisa and Samuel Lozano.
She is survived by her mother, Raquel Lozano-Allen; her stepfather, Billy Harold Allen; her Godmother, Sally Ann Garza; and her Godfather, Reynaldo Salazar. She is also survived by aunts and uncles Thelma Tamayo, Irma Hinojosa, Bertha Galindo, Essie Sanchez, Sandra and Steven Young, Ralph and Christine Sanchez; and many cousins and dear friends.
Funeral services for Christina are scheduled for Monday, May 16th

While Christina's untimely departure from this earth has hurt so many so deeply, we should all feel blessed and fortunate to have had this wonderful, loving person in our lives no matter how short the time was. We can solace in knowing that her final thoughts in her physical life were most likely of us and our feelings and love for her.
Christina goes to our Father in Heaven caring for and loving us even more than she did in life.
