Celia G. Amezquita, of San Antonio, TX, a life well lived March 17, 1941 to September 15, 2025.  Celia was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother to whom family was everything. A mighty woman of faith in God and a prayer warrior…a faithful missionary to Mexico for 32 years.

Celia is survived by her husband of 64 years, Richard Sr. as well as her children: Cynthia Amezquita Cartwright (Brett) and Richard Amezquita Jr. (Diana); her grandchildren: Richard Luis Amezquita, Vanessa Amezquita, Joshua Amezquita, Brandon Cartwright, Trevor Cartwright, Jonathon Amezquita and Brittany Cartwright.  She leaves behind 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; her sister, Alicia Noriega; brother, Roy Gonzalez; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Celia was a gentle spirit who exuded love and kindness to all who knew her.

She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.

Graveside Service will be held at 12:30pm

There will not be a procession to the cemetery.

Following the graveside service, we will gather to celebrate Celia's life with

a reception back at Christ is King Church at 2:00pm.
