Carolyn J. Diaz, was born in San Antonio, Texas on December 8 1944.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and faithful friend. She passed away peacefully on June 19, 2023 surrounded by her husband Raymond, her son Allen and sister, Kathy at the age of 78.

Carolyn and Raymond were married for 38 wonderful years. A retired Civil Service employee, she especially enjoyed cooking, baking, and entertaining her family and friends.

She relished being around young people and for several years she and her husband Raymond volunteered with The American Field Service (AFS) Exchange Program and had the pleasure of hosting many young teenage boys and girls from several countries.  The teenagers she and Raymond hosted are now grown men and women with families of their own who have continued to stay in touch with them.

She was a great advocate for feral cats and was a believer in the humane treatment of all animals. Carolyn was also very active in her church and as a CCD teacher along with her husband they introduced many young souls to our Savior Jesus Christ. She was also blessed with a deep well of wisdom which she imparted to her family as well as to her extended family throughout the world.
