Our loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Carmen B. Valdez passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at the age of 94.  Carmen, affectionately known as "Pila" was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Valdez; daughter, Margaret Ann Metzger; siblings: Isabel Bazan, Inez Martinez (Arnulfo), Carlota Garcia (Guadalupe) and Manuel Bazan, Jr.

Pila is survived by her son, Steve Valdez (Alice); daughter, Leticia Thorn (Tracy); 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
