Carmen "Chicki" Carrisal Arzola went to be with the Lord on August 14, 2014. She was born on November 22, 1925, the daughter of Nicholas and Eulalia Carrisal, in San Antonio, Texas. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband and love of her life, Arnold R. Arzola; her parents, and 5 brothers and sisters. Family was her passion and delight. She will forever by remembered by her daughters, Nancy Carol, Joyce Elaine (Paul), and Dorothy Lorraine (Ruben); grandchildren, Paul Anthony, Jacob Arnold, Devon Michael, Angela (Steve), Arthur (Chasity), and Anthony; great grandchildren, Ryan Zachary, Roman Alexavier, Adrian Aric, Steven Nicholas, Mia Nicole, Ruben Arthur, Dylan Lyric, Marley Music, Kaylee Angelica, and Lennon Song. She is also survived by her sister, Frances (Guadalupe "Cunie" Saucedo Jr.), Rose Mary Rodriguez, and Yolanda De Hoyos; brother-in-law, Herbert Alonzo Sr., sister-in-law, Rosa Garza, wife of Rudy Garza. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews as well as countless friends that have passed through her life the past 88 years. Visitation will begin on Monday, August 18, at 5:00 PM with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM at the Angelus Chapel. Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, August 19, at 9:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery No. 2.
