Bonnie Weynand was called to be with the Lord on June 7, 2015. She was born on November 12, 1954. After graduating from Highlands High School and UTSA, she went to work as a legal secretary at the law firm of Cox & Smith. She left there to start a family and became a devoted mother. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church since she was a teenager. Through the church she volunteered her time with Meals on Wheels. She also served as room mother for many years at the church school. One of her favorite activities each week was meeting with friends at the Women's Bible Brunch. She is survived by her husband Carl Weynand and daughter Sarah Weynand. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Concordia Lutheran Church, 16801 Huebner Rd. A private burial service will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank her dedicated and loving caregivers at Grace Place Central. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Grace Place Central Alzheimer's Adult Day Care Center.
