It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Beatrice Valadez on January 24, 2025. Born on November 25, 1940, Beatrice was a guiding light of love, faith, and generosity who left a lasting mark on everyone she met. Surrounded by her sons and family, Beatrice entered eternal rest with her Lord.
A devout Catholic, Beatrice's life was anchored by her unwavering faith and her deep devotion to God. Her compassionate spirit, boundless kindness, and ability to bring people together were among her many gifts. She found joy in serving others, offering her wisdom and support to those in need, and making everyone feel like part of her extended family.
Beatrice's love extended beyond people to the animals she cared for deeply. Her dogs and cats, who brought her comfort and companionship, were an integral part of her life. They survive her and remain a testament to her nurturing and gentle spirit. Her home was always a haven for her beloved pets, who received her unconditional love and care.
Beatrice is survived by her sons: Arturo Valadez, James Valadez, and Richard Valadez. She is also survived by her daughters-in-law, Melissa Valadez (wife of James Valadez) and Leti Saldana (wife of Richard Valadez); her grandson, Gabriel Gallardo; great-grandson, Adan Gallardo; sisters, Otelia Guerrero (and her husband, Tirso Guerrero) and Guadalupe Espinoza; and her many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will forever treasure the countless memories.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Valadez; parents, Beatrice Muñoz Perez and Gilbert Perez; sister, Sarah Leija and her brothers, Rudy Perez, Edward Perez, Armando Perez, Jacob Perez, Albert Lee Perez, Gilbert Perez, Johnny Perez and Samual Perez.
Beatrice will be remembered as a devoted mother, sister, and friend whose warmth and strength uplifted those around her. She had an extraordinary ability to make people feel loved and cared for, offering a steady hand, a warm embrace, and a kind word to anyone who crossed her path. Whether hosting family gatherings filled with laughter and love or sharing her faith through prayer and devotion, Beatrice brought light to every room she entered.
Her legacy of faith, family, love, and her deep care for all living creatures will continue to shine brightly in the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
