Mrs. Beatrice C. Cruz born November 5, 1926 in San Antonio, Texas passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014 at the age of 87 years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Emil Cruz; granddaughter, Michelle Mora; and her parents, John and Julia Cortinas. Beatrice is survived by daughters, Anna Marie Lopez and husband Marco, Linda Mora; sons, Joseph Cruz and wife Aurora, Emil Cruz, Johnny Cruz and wife Maricela; sisters, Carmen Davis, Norma Flores, and Julie De La Rosa; brothers, Johnny and Henry Cortinas; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin on Sunday, April 13, at 4:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 P.M. at the Angelus Chapel. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 14, at 11:30 A.M. at The Angelus Chapel. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
