Barbara Gergen was born on June 9, 1935.  She was the loving wife of Paul Gergen and five children.  She was raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, an intelligent woman, attending and graduating from college at Marquette University.  Upon her marriage to Paul, she devoted her life to raising her children not only in good morals but also with a love of God.  On occasion she also volunteered at local as well as state-wide events.

She loved and deeply lived her Catholic Faith.  This included daily attendance at Mass, and pilgrimages to Fatima, Lourdes, and other shrines in Europe.  She loved the Holy Mass, the Holy Rosary, adoration of Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament, and she read her Bible faithfully.  She and her husband Paul also were very generous to Catholic charities not only in the US but abroad.

Barbara passed into the next life on November 4, 2024.  She is survived by her husband, Paul Gergen; 5 children, Jean Marie Schwartz, Bill Gergen, Joseph Gergen, Mary Clare DeGroot, Julie Kiyabu; and 14 grandchildren.
