Ms. Aurora A. Govea of San Antonio was called to be with the Lord on Thursday February 4th 2021 at the age of 90 after a long and Happy Life!

She was preceded in death by her parents Simon and Basilia; sisters, Pilar and Maria de Jesus, and brothers, Raul and Robert Govea.

After graduating from Fox Tech High School, Aurora went on to work at Kelly AFB for 40 years where she met her loving companion Warren Harvey.  Aurora loved to travel Mexico and Europe, but her favorite place was always Hawaii!  She and Warren enjoyed dancing, the theatre, and parties at the Officers club, and she never met a Martini she didn't like!

Aurora will be dearly missed by her loving nieces Sylvia, Hilda, Sonya, Leticia and Veronica, and her nephews Roy and Eddie, and numerous great nieces and great nephews.

Her family would also like to thank her neighbors and best friend Evelyn Parra and Mr. & Mrs. Gutierrez for all the help and care they showed her throughout the years!

Visitation will begin on Monday, February 22, at 5:00 P.M. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 P.M. at the Angelus Chapel.  Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, February 23, at 1:00 P.M. at St. John Berchmans Catholic Church.  Interment will follow in San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery # 2.
