Beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Anthony John Arabia age 88 of San Antonio passed away on Monday May 15, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents Vincenzo and Clorinda, sister, Pauline Latagliata, and wife of 61 years, Rose Marie Arabia. He is survived by his children: Vincent Arabia, Anthony Arabia, Jr., Maria Arabia Moore; brother: Gene Arabia; and 5 grandchildren: Joshua Binkley, Austin Arabia, Ashley Arabia Haynes, Abigail Binkley and Addison Arabia.

Anthony graduated and received a Bachelor's, 2 Master's, and a PhD from the University Of Pittsburgh and worked as a professor both at University Of Pittsburgh and University Of Texas San Antonio. He was multitalented in art and music. He played and taught percussion throughout and beyond college. Anthony was a fan of all sports teams from Pittsburgh.

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Anthony and his family have resided in San Antonio for over four decades where he was an active member in numerous religious, charitable organizations with his loving wife.

Anthony loved to travel with his wife, family and friends. His expeditions included frequent cruises across the Caribbean, travels to Europe where he visited museums, churches and local attractions and regular visits to his hometown. He loved spending time with family, especially when all were able to gather together.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday, May 24 ^th at 6:00pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm at the Angelus Chapel. Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday, May 25 ^th at 10:00am at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
