Anne H. Collins, 95, died in peace at Sodalis, in Buda, Texas, early on the morning of April 20. Mourned by her seven children, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends near and far, she was the last of her generation in the Collins/Haggerty clan. Anne was the former spouse of Charles Joseph Collins, Jr.

She taught history for seventeen years at Alamo Heights High School, and after retirement she became an active member of San Antonio's theater community, in particular the Extended Run Players.

Anne served in the United States Marine Corps in WWII; her ashes will be interred at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.

Her children will announce a date for her memorial celebration.
