Mrs. Anna Mae Richards Lemelle age 95 of San Antonio passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2016. Mrs. Lemelle was born the fourth of seven children on November 20, 1920 in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Anna Mae was a member of St. Gerard Parish, but was known to frequent the Downtown churches of St. Mary's and St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jules and Louise (Broussard) Richards; sisters, Gladys, Lucille, and Marie; brothers, Joseph, Paul and James; husband, August V. Lemelle and son-in-law, Maurice S. Abadie, Jr.

She is survived by her children, Patrick Lemelle and wife Olivia, Jules Lemelle, Allen Lemelle and wife Mary, Bonnie Abadie, Angela Schneberger and husband Tim; grandchildren, Pualana Lemelle, Marcel Lemelle, Moreau Lemelle, Alexis Johnson; 4 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

FUNERAL SERVICES

Visitation will begin on Wednesday, October 5, at 5:00 P.M. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at the Angelus Chapel. Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday, October 6, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Gerard Catholic Church, 1523 Iowa St., San Antonio, TX 78203. Entombment will follow in San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery # 2.
