Anita E. Vasquez was born on February 16, 1931 and was called to be with the Lord on June 22, 2016. Anita is survived by her children, Armando & Anita Castillo; David & Tracie Vasquez; Luis and Lupe Vasquez, and Olga & David Villarreal. She had 16 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings; Susie, Aurora, Rosa, Jesse, Frank and numerous other relatives.

Anita was a mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many. She embraced life to the fullest. She was constantly on the go and always ready and willing to lend a helping hand. She loved to cook for her family and welcomed anyone who entered her home. She enjoyed gardening as well. She shared her life stories with all her family and anyone she befriended. Anita was dearly loved and will be missed immensely.

FUNERAL SERVICES

Visitation will begin Monday June 27 at 5:00 P.M. in The Angelus Chapel with a Prayer Service to begin at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be offered Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. at San Juan de los Lagos Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Jose Burial Park.
