Obituary

Our beautiful angel sister, Angelita (Lita), was called back home to our Lord on September 16, 2019.  She was born in San Antonio on August 26, 1961 to Angelina Alejos Tijerina and Justo Eleazar Tijerina.  Lita loved her music, teddy bears and was a whirlwind on the dance floor.  Her favorite type of music was oldies plus Tejano music came in at a close second.  She would love to dance with her sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews at her birthday parties and her brothers' and sisters' weddings and family gatherings.  We will greatly miss our beloved Lita.  She is at peace with our Lord and does not hurt anymore.

Lita was preceded in death by her parents: Justo and Angelina Tijerina; brother, Ignacio Escobedo.  She is survived by Guadalupe Escobedo, Susie Wright, Anna (Robert) Almaraz, Louis (Sylvia) Escobedo, Robert (Lucy) Escobedo, Justo (Celia) Tijerina, Sonia Escobedo, Arturo (Elizabeth) Flores, Isabel, Alexis and Uhlrik, Christopher and Kimberly; numerous nieces, nephews and BFF for life, Jailah Sky.
