Angelita (Angie) Caldera born October 27, 1936 in San Antonio, Texas went to be with our Lord on August 26, 2020 at the age of 83.

Angie loved to cook and bake.  She would cut out recipes from the Express Newspaper and put them into a photo album and would try to make them all.  She especially loved to cook and bake for her grandchildren.  They would request their favorite foods: tortillas, beans, arroz con pollo, lemon chicken, green enchiladas, banana bread, chocolate malt o meal, chocolate cake, punch bowl cake and the best dressing for the Thanksgiving turkey.  The list could go on and on.

Her talents also included sewing, cross-stitching, and she had a green thumb for her plants.  She would make blankets, outfits, and baby bibs for her grandchildren.  She will be greatly missed by her family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Josephine Moreno and her grandson, Saxon (Bubba) Caldera.  She is survived by her children, Benny Caldera Sr. (Mary), Eddie Caldera, Frances Rodriguez, Delia Saenz (Ricardo), Pete Caldera (Elda), Juanita Valdez, and Mark Caldera, Sr.; 22 grandchildren; her brothers and sisters; and numerous great-grandchildren.
