Obituary

Angelica Garza Cuevas, of Estancias Coahuila Mexico, was called to be with the Lord at the age of 88, on Sunday, January 1, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ruben R. Cuevas, parents Antonio and Elena Garza, brothers Baldemar, Servando, Antonio, Enrique, Hector and daughter-in-law Elsa Rendon Cuevas.  She is survived by her sons Ruben Jr. (CJ), Raul and his wife Patricia, daughter Bertha and her husband Mark Ramirez, grandchildren Monica, Eric and his wife Jessica, Claudia, Lorena and her husband Clayton Purvis, Christian Ramirez and fiancé Meghan Mueller, great-grandchildren Gavin, Ben, Gabriela, Ryan, Alina, Alexandria and Everett, her sister Elva Garza De Aguilar, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Angelica was a woman with a lot of character, with so much love and commitment to her family, a proud wife, mom, and Awi (Grandma).  Angelica's love for her children was like no other, whom she referred to as "Mis mas grandes tesoros" (My greatest treasures).  She adored all 5 of her grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, her pride for each and every one of them radiated…

Angelica was a woman of faith; she spent her life thinking of others.  She always surrounded herself with family and friends.  She enjoyed watching soccer, basketball, dancing, and loved listen to music.  One of her many memorable actions that will be greatly missed will be the early morning phone call on birthdays to play "Las Mañanitas".

We love you, and we will never forget all your life teachings, but mostly we will never forget the extraordinary loving mother and strong woman you have been.

"Nunca la olvidaremos y siempre estara en nuestros corazones, mi reina hermosa".
