Amparo Rios Mireles, a resident of Lytle, TX passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018 at the age of 94 in San Antonio, TX. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. A beautiful, strong, intelligent, and friendly woman who enjoyed life. She loved her plants, her rose bushes, and her little Chihuahua Penny, who was her constant companion.

She will be deeply missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan A. Mireles, her son John A. Mireles II, and daughter Katherine A. Dominguez. She is survived by son George E. Mireles, daughters Evelyn S. Palencia, Jeanette M. Renteria, and Elaine M. Mireles; sister Ramona Soto; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; special niece, Josie Ann Gonzales, and numerous nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL SERVICES

Visitation will begin Tuesday at 5:00 P.M. in The Angelus Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M.

Funeral Mass will be offered Wednesday at 9:30 A.M. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
