Alice McQuade, age 90, passed away peacefully on Thursday November 29, 2018.  She was born January 25, 1928 to Gabriel and Minnie Martinez in San Antonio, Texas, and graduated from Harlandale High School in 1944.  Alice married James V. McQuade on March 22, 1947.  She worked as a homemaker during her husband's military career and upon his retirement from the Air Force, Alice worked over 20 years as a Civil Servant at Kelly AFB Texas.

She is survived by her 4 children Elizabeth Zook, Christine Richardson (Randy), J.J. McQuade (Trisha), and Michael McQuade (Lori); sister Aurora Ramirez, brothers Arthur Martinez and Richard Martinez (Susie), and sister-in-law Diana Martinez.  Alice had 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, many cousins, nephews and nieces.  She was preceded in death by her husband Jim, her parents Gabriel and Minnie and her brother Samuel.

FUNERAL SERVICES

Visitation and Rosary services will be Tuesday December 11, 2018 at

St. Dominic Catholic Church

(5919 Ingram Road; San Antonio, TX 78228)

at 6pm and 7pm respectively.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 13, 2018

at 11am at St. Dominic Catholic Church.

Burial will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
