In Loving Memory of Alberto R. Sandoval
March 12, 1956- December 27, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alberto R. Sandoval, a man of quiet strength and unspoken wisdom. Though he was a man of few words, his presence spoke volumes, and his love for his family was steadfast and true. He worked for the City of San Antonio for 40 plus years before retiring in 2018.
Alberto R. Sandoval also known as Schubby, lived a life rooted in integrity, humility, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life. Whether it was a trip to Kickapoo for some gambling or his unwavering support for his son, warm smile, or the silent understanding he shared with those close to him to include his fur baby Jack.
He was preceded in death by parents: Natividad and Trinidad Rondan Sandoval; sister, Dora Gamez. He leaves behind his son, Alberto V. Sandoval Jr; his former spouse, Irene Sandoval; sister, Emma Cardenas; sister, Margaret (Joe) Morales; brother, Natividad Sandoval Jr; sister. Esperanza Gonzales; brother, Roberto (Gloria) Sandoval. Schubby has numerous nieces and nephews along with countless loved ones who will cherish his memory.
As he often preferred the quiet moments, we will honor his legacy. His passion for keeping his street clean along with his cars were always spic and span.
