The family would like to thank the following individuals for all the wonderful medical care for Bert; Dr. Arun Rao and the staff at Texas Oncology; Dr. Sandra Guerrero Fernandez; Dr. Johanna Urena; the staff at the San Antonio Transplant and Specialty hospital (especially the staff on the second and fifth floors). A special thanks to his team at Vitas hospice (Yamille, Anna, Johnny, Michel) for taking such beautiful care of Bert. And a special accolade to the nurses and aides at Vitas Hospice hospital (they are angels here on earth) who made Bert's final stay peaceful and loving.
