Adolph Partida Arciniega, age 91, native son of San Antonio, TX born November 11, 1932, was called home to join Our Lord and Savior on June 9, 2024.

Proud Marine and Korean War veteran, he was an avid reader and learner, deeply intrigued and proud of his family ancestry. He was a longtime parishioner of St. Lawrence Parish. He often discussed the lord and scripture, continually seeking a deeper understanding of his faith. He cherished having long conversations about these topics with his children and grandchildren (whenever he had their attention). We will deeply miss these moments with him.

He was preceded in death by our "Nana", his mother, Adelina Partida, his grandmother, "Granny", Margarita Olvera Partida, his father, Joe Delgado Arciniega, his cousin, who was like a sister to him, Olivia Castillo, and his two younger brothers, Julius Arciniega and Joe "Sweepy" Arciniega, were they will forever be playing and singing together their favorite tunes on the guitar.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Dora Arciniega and their children, Catherine Arciniega, Martha Schiller, Elizabeth Good (Terry), David Arciniega (Susan), Ruth Martinez (Joe), and Angela Arciniega-Rodriguez (Marcus).  He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and his sisters Evangeline Chavez and Linda Arciniega.

Visitation will begin on Monday, June 17th at 6:00pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm at the Angelus Chapel.  Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, June 18th at 9:30am at St. Lawrence Catholic Church.  Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
