On December 22, 2014 Adela Maldonado finished her earthly journey and went to spend eternity with Jesus Christ. She was born on November 18, 1926 in San Antonio, Texas. She was many things but most of all she was a devoted wife and loving mother. She was dedicated to her faith and spent many years in the service of The Lord. She belonged to the Holy Name, Sacred Heart, Brown Scapular and Altar societies. She also belonged to the Cursillos and was a Catechism teacher. Wherever there was a need in the Little Flower parish, she was there. She was preceded in death by her parents Juan and Francisca Ramirez. She is survived by her husband, Emilio of almost sixty-seven years; children, Emilio, Robert, and Theresa. She has left behind many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She will be missed but she will never be forgotten. FUNERAL SERVICES Visiation will begin on Sunday at 3:00 P.M. with a Rosary to be recited at 5:00 P.M. at the Angelus Chapel. Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday at 10:00 A.M. at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No. 2.
