Adalia M. Lara, 89, departed this life to join our heavenly father on February 19, 2019, with her family by her side in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on September 21, 1929, to Eleutenio and Margarita Medrano.
She was married to Eduardo R. Lara and is survived by her children Elva Andrade, Louis A. Martinez, Patricia Fernandez, Manuel Lara, and Delia Lara von Muldau, and her many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and her sister Sonia Alvarez.
Adalia battled with Alzheimer's disease for many years. To her family, she did not pass away but was set free. The things we feel genuinely are the hardest to say. So, when we say that we are partly crying happy tears, it is because she is finally free from this horrible disease. She is no longer suffering, lonely, or confused. She is smiling and living an eternal life with our father and grandfather.
Please join us in a celebration of life for our mother:
